Simsbury Patch: Congressman Murphy, Rebecca Lobo Bring ‘Let’s Move!’ to Simsbury Students

Congressman Chris Murphy joined sportscaster and former UConn and WNBA basketball player Rebecca Lobo at Henry James Memorial School Friday morning for the Let's Move! event to encourage healthy lifestyles and physical fitness for Connecticut kids.

Murphy and Lobo spent an hour at the school shooting hoops and playing volleyball with approximately 400 students.

Simsbury Deputy First Selectman John Hampton also joined in on the activity teaming up with Murphy on the volleyball court.

Let’s Move! is an initiative launched by First Lady Michelle Obama, dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity.
